“Danny From North Korea”

Join the Contemporary Asian Studies Student Union and INDePth Conference in a documentary screening of Danny From North Korea this Friday, November 22nd, presented by Liberty in North Korea.

LiNK is an organization that believes in freedom for all. This fall, the Nomads – LiNK’s traveling representatives – will be traveling across North America with their latest documentary, Danny From North Korea. Danny is one of the first North Korean refugees LiNK helped rescue and resettle. He has been in the United States for the past seven years and is now living, working, and studying in Los Angeles. But his harrowing journey of escape puts life back into perspective for people and gives them a glimpse into the life of an actual North Korean.

The screening will take place this Friday, November 22nd in the Hart House Debates Room from 6 to 8 PM. Admission is free, but seating will be limited– arrive early to ensure you have a spot!
