Korean film “Stateless Things” @ Reel Asian

The Pan-Asia Student Society at the University of Toronto had the great pleasure of working with The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, an event which broadcasts and showcases the uniqueness of contemporary Asian cinema and work from Asian diaspora.

The second year as an annual community partner, PASS was delighted to co-present the Korean film, Stateless Things by internationally acclaimed indie film director Kim Kyung Mook. The film tells the haunting stories of a North Korean migrant worker and a young gay man trapped by their status, both physically and psychologically in the heartless megacity of Seoul.
